摘要: One problem of practical interest is the evaluation catalyst activity and selectivity commercial fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts. Although different statistical methods may be used for this purpose, these are usually neglected or oversimplified in catalysis. In a previous study [1], it was shown that experimental errors independent variables exert significant impact upon discrimination performance FCC processes should not disregarded. work actual measurements can present strong correlation existence covariance among also influence procedure. The on parameter estimation confidence interval (CI) predicted values discussed. It considering covariances have either positive negative effect CI values. Practical examples regarding microactivity test (MAT) characterization to illustrate discussion, although conclusions extended systems other than cracking.
