摘要: Stress ulcers were formed by a standard method after fasting and restraining each rat in performed conduit tube placing them cold room head inverted at 4°C for three hours. The severity of the ulcer was graded into four groups; Grade 0: no ulcer, 1: 1–10 ulcers, 2: 11–20 3: more than 21 ulcers. animals divided six groups: Group I: stress, treatment; II: stressed but not III: pretreated with saline stressed; IV: antacid V: Cimetidine VI: then post-treated Cimetidine. In group II 47 out 49 (96 per cent) developed compared to I. V, 13 38 (34 IV, 20 (65 only incidence reduced markedly also significantly less. However, post-treatment cimetidine as effective pre-treatment. Cimetidine, therefore, seems be very preventing stress induced when instilled stomach before stress.
