摘要: The possibility that a significant fraction of cardiac myocyte loss in various disease states occurs through apoptosis has elicited considerable attention recent years. Evidence from human studies as well vitro and animal models shown can be induced by variety stimuli number states, including hypoxia, ischemia–reperfusion, myocardial infarction, mechanical stretch, aortic constriction, heart failure. Because adult myocytes are terminally differentiated cells, the effects such never fully compensated. Interest cardiomyocyte been fueled once proximal distal signals were defined initiate this pathway cell removal, it would possible to develop stategies selectively interfere with signaling prevent function. This article examines evidence for heart, ligand-dependent activation membrane receptors Fas ligand tumor necrosis factor-α, and, particular, suppressor gene p53. It relates what is known about mechanism which these other cells induce discusses strategies inhibiting heart.
