摘要: Glycerol is considered an important renewable feedstock as well undesirable side-product of biodiesel production. The aim this study was to determine whether supplementing a culture medium with combination three different carbon sources (olive oil, glucose and glycerol) would optimize lipase production by the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica. optimization experiments were conducted statistical approach using mixture design. Analysis response surface revealed that it be possible compose in which both extracellular activity 0.1 U/mL up 37.5 g/L pure glycerol could obtained. An YPO-Gl30 consisting 30 g/L 19.2 mL/L olive oil selected for further investigation. Although high biomass yield found all cultures, content slightly influenced growth, but did not prolong duration lag phase. hydrolytic lipases produced satisfactory.
