Production and down-stream processing of an extracellular lipase from the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica

摘要: Abstract Lipase constitutes an interesting class of enzyme with many biotechnological applications. However, the development a fruitful process must be set up to obtained product compatible industrial and commercial needs. Here, we report such for extracellular lipase secreted by yeast Yarrowia lipolytica . The production, carried out in 2000 L bioreactor, led activity approximately 1100 U mL −1 after 53 h fermentation. post-culture treatment, consisting centrifugation, filtration ultra-filtration steps, 15-fold volume reduction 8-fold increased activity. Finally, addition 12% milk powder 3% gum arabic before spray-drying dehydration stable lipolytic 37,500 U g D.W.
