Sol–gel based phenolphthalein encapsulated heterogeneous silica–titania optochemical pH nanosensor

摘要: Abstract Thermally stable phenolphthalein encapsulated silica–titania nanomatrix is fabricated by sol–gel method for optochemical pH sensing. The particle size ∼56–121 nm obtained with average surface roughness of 3.95 nm after the encapsulation dye which highly appropriate optical and sensing applications. High area value ∼218 m2/g, pore volume 0.16 cm3/g diameter 31.49 A encapsulation. Furthermore, sensor response optimized at 10. Fast time 1–2 s, sensitivity good reproducibility identify that nanosensor challenging detection room temperature.
