摘要: On the basis of two examples, temperature measurements are proposed within burning polymer specimen during cone calorimeter test; especially to gain deeper insight into actual pyrolysis conditions and flame retardancy mechanism. The heating a poly(methyl methacrylate) were characterized, discussing characteristic maximum rates (165−90°Cmin−1 decreasing with depth >275°Cmin−1 at initial surface), (454−432°C in accordance rates), thickness zone (0.5–1.3 mm) its velocity (1.2−2.1 mm min−1) as function sample time. Thermally thick behaviour corresponds 0.74 mm 1.51 mm min−1 occurs until remaining is less than 8 mm. shielding effect against radiation occurring layered silicate epoxy resin nanocomposite was investigated. It main silicate-carbon surface layer formed under fire. reradiation from hot increased by factor around 4–5 when an irradiance 70kWm−2 applied. energy impact crucially reduced, resulting reduction fuel production thus heat release rate.
