Anterior Mediastinal Mass: A Rare Presentation of Tuberculosis

摘要: We report a case of 14-year-boy who presented to us with low-grade fever evening rise for 9 months. Along this, the patient also reported reduction in his appetite and body weight. He had mild dry cough but no respiratory symptoms otherwise. There was other localization on history. received antitubercular therapy, based abnormal chest radiograph. However, there relief symptoms. General physical examination revealed fever. Systemic unremarkable. Blood investigations done were noncontributory. Computed tomographic (CT) scan mediastinal mass compressing trachea. The possibilities lymphoma or germ cell tumour considered. A biopsy from under CT guidance performed. histopathology multiple epithelioid granulomas necrosis, diagnosis tuberculosis made. clinical course this relevant literature is paper.
