PERSONALITY DISORDER FUNCTIONING STYLES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE EFFECTS OF THE COGNITIVE- BEHAVIORAL THERAPY FOR PANIC DISORDER: A PRELIMINARY STUDY

摘要: SUMMARY Background: The effect of the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for panic disorder varies, but how personality functioning style influences it remains unclear. Subjects and methods: In 30 healthy volunteers 44 patients with (22 treated 22 waiting list), we administered Parker Personality Measure (PERM) Plutchik-van Praag Depression Inventory (PVP). Before during CBT or period, were asked to record their attacks using Panic Attack Record (PAR). Results: Patients scored significantly higher on PERM Antisocial, Borderline, Histrionic, Avoident, Dependent, Passiveaggressive styles depression. After CBT, all PAR parameters reduced in group. Obsessivecompulsive was positively correlated attack duration total-thought before period patients. patients, decreased Obsessive-compulsive Passive-aggressive; total symptom number Antisocial Histrionic; total-sensation antisocial; Narcissistic style. Conclusions: length short mainly strategies, influenced related cognition per se unknown here.
