摘要: Abstract Myeloperoxidase released from stimulated neutrophils is able to produce hypochlorous and hypobromous acids. The composition of the reaction products interaction hypohalous acid with double bonds phosphatidylcholines was analysed by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation time-of-flight mass spectrometry using reagents enriched in 16 O , 18 35 Cl 37 79 Br or 81 . Two different types were assigned according spectra. First, chlorohydrins as well bromohydrins formed whereby oxygen introduced derived water shown H 2 In second product a hydrogen atom replaced halogen. This clearly evidenced shifts chlorine bromine isotopes lack any effects isotopes. These results are consistent view that two principal possibilities stabilisation π-complexes after binding Cl+ Br+ π-system bond exist.
