摘要: Prior studies have found cross-sectional lung function to be highly heritable. In the present study, we used a 10-cM genome-wide scan of 1,578 members 330 families participating in Framingham Study test for linkage genetic markers level as determined by spirometry during middle age. At this age, measures may reflect effects genes influencing growth and development, well those decline adulthood. We performed on 345 Original Cohort 1,233 Offspring Study. The height, body mass index, smoking status spirometric were adjusted through linear regression models created separately men women each cohort. Standardized residuals FEV1, FVC, ratio FEV1 FVC obtained from these models. residual analyzed genome use variance component Sequential Oligogenic Linkage Analysis Routines software program. loci most strongly colocalized chromosomes 4, 6, 21. was influenced locus chromosome 6 (logarithm odds favoring [LOD] = 2.4), whereas 21 contained with strongest (LOD 2.6).
