摘要: Lung cancer and chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) are two common fatal diseases. Apart from their link to tobacco, these diseases usually considered be the result of separate distinct mechanisms. In past 15 years, numerous studies have produced arguments in favour a relationship between pathologies that goes beyond simple addition risk factors. At epidemiological level, there data demonstrate an increased incidence bronchial carcinoma patients with COPD. The links still unexplained but supporting physiopathology. Common genetic epigenetic abnormalities, mechanical factors signalisation pathways been quoted. COPD appear possessing basis creates predisposition environmental or toxic assaults, resulting different clinical manifestation each disease. Consequently, improvements management will involve more intensive investigation physiopathology, require closer collaboration research centres units.
