Rejoinder to “Considering the Prospects for Establishing a Packing Gerrymandering Standard”

摘要: Abstract In this volume, Best and coauthors evaluate a series of measures gerrymandering conclude that some should be preferred over others. rejoinder, I suggest their conclusions are premature because they do not offer clear idea what unfairness in redistricting means nor sophisticated discussion the mechanics each measure. As such, evaluations inconsistent sometimes factually inaccurate. Their analysis probably obscures more than it clarifies.
