摘要: . ABSTRACT.D-002 is an anti-ulcerogenic product isolated from beeswax, which consists of a well-defined mixture higher aliphatic alcohols Previous results have been shown that this possess antiulcerogenic effect and several evidences point to cytoprotective mechanism action It has supported the aforementioned in experimental models gastric damage induced by necrotizing agents (ethanol, HC1) no steroidals anti-inflammatory (aspirin indomethacin) This study was designed order compare D-002 with sucralfate (cytoprotective drug) omeprazol (proton pump inhibitor) demonstrated are so effective treatment gastroduodenal ulcer although they dif- ferent mechanisms made utilizing two : a) ethanol-induced (necrotizing agent) b) stress-induced (dependent-acid model) rats The present indicates both drugs (D- 002 sucralfate) showed similar inhibition at all doses
