摘要: Diffusible mitotic inhibitors are assumed to govern proliferation of normal cells. Cancer cells may escape regulation by failing either recognize or secrete inhibitors. In the latter case, probabilities and expected times for reaching a critical clone size given. Patterns will depend on whether inhibitor concentration is locally systemically determined.
