摘要: Summary Introduction Patients not qualified for surgery due to the location and clinically advanced stage of oesophageal cancer constitute a group with poor prognosis. Only few them qualify radical teletherapy, most are being treated symptomatically. The paper presents preliminary results HDR brachytherapy applied in patients inoperable cancer. Material Methods Between May 1999 February 2000, 37 were by brachytherapy. patients’ age ranged between 42 81 years, mean: 53.1 yr.
