摘要: This study investigates the implementation of U.S. environmental protection laws under American Indian tribal governance. The landmark 1970s that form core America's policy regime made no mention lands, and subsequent research literature on has given them little attention. Environmental Protection Agency primary responsibility for which offers a unique opportunity to direct federal apart from typical joint state–federal implementation. Further, because reservations are homes disproportionately poor, historically subjugated racial group, analysis programs lands perspective justice. We analyze enforcement compliance with Clean Water Act (CWA) Safe Drinking (SDWA) compare nontribal facilities. Analysis reveals that, compared facilities, facilities experience less rigorous CWA SDWA more likely violate these laws.
