摘要: The difficulty of large-scale monitoring app markets affects our understanding their dynamics. This is particularly true for dimensions such as update frequency, control and pricing, the impact developer actions on popularity, well coveted membership in top lists. In this paper, we perform a detailed temporal analysis two datasets have collected from Google Play Store, one consisting 160 000 apps other 87 223 newly released apps. We monitored data about these over more than six months. Our results show that high number not been updated interval. Moreover, are controlled by few developers dominate total downloads. observe infrequently significantly median price. However, changing price does correlate with download count. Furthermore, attain higher ranks better stability market analytics can help detect emerging threat vectors, identify search rank fraud even malware. Further, discuss research implications improving user experiences.
