摘要: The goal of sustainable use is indefinite the planet by humankind. This objective, in turn, requires that planet's ecological life support system, consisting natural capital and ecosystem services, remains healthy for an period. Achieving sustainability will require a new view responsibilities professionals, such as ecotoxicologists, to ensure system. Because both human society systems are complex multivariate, high degree uncertainty remain. Therefore, sound judgment be needed determining what, if any, precautionary measures should taken until more robust information has been gathered. role ecotoxicologists quest quite varied: 1) shifting goals endpoints from absence harm persuasive evidence health; 2) increasing temporal spatial scales ecotoxicological studies; 3) achieving critical mass qualified personnel; 4) including demographic change analysis judgment; 5) developing thresholds; 6) being prepared environmental surprises; 7) focusing on design quality environment; 8) services studies, 9) climate other events might destabilize biosphere major adjustments process testing. Both field ecotoxicology rapidly fields mostly evolving isolation each other. To successful, they must co-evolve.
