摘要: The flow and heat transfer in pipes filled with metal foams were studied numerically.In this study,the two-equation model based on LNTE (Local Non-Thermal equilibrium) was employed as energy equations,furthermore the models extended by Brinkman Brinkman-Forchheimer momentum equations respectively,and a comparison between these two made analysed.The numerical results indicate that velocity profiles under are different,but their temperature almost same each other,consequently,there barely differences Nu numbers models.According to results,the number of metal-foam is order magnitude 102~103,which much bigger than bare conventional exchangers.The exhibit excellent performance,however high pressure drop produced at time.By using program for calculation foam developed us,someone can make optimization practical applications.
