Study of the sintering temperature and the sintering time period effects on the structural and magnetic properties of M-type hexaferrite BaFe12O19

摘要: Abstract The hexagonal ferrite BaFe12O19 (BaM) has been prepared by the citrate precursor method. synthesized sample sintered at 1000, 1100 and 1200 °C for 24 h 1300 °C 62, 124 148 h to examine effect of both sintering temperature duration on structure magnetism BaM. So these samples have characterized XRD, FT-IR, VSM, SEM TEM techniques. XRD images show that increasing enhanced purity crystallinity with grain growth from 0.537 μm 16.35 μm. In addition, single crystal formed into 1300 °C/62 h. On other hand, deterioration occurred period a barium oxide phase (BaO) appeared. IR spectra three fundamental absorption bands ν1, ν2 ν3 corresponding tetrahedral octahedral complexes. intensity increases improving which resulting process. From VSM measurements, maximum recorded magnetization values (Mm), remnant (Mr), squareness ratio Mr/Mm coercivity (Hc) recorded. As result growth, transformation domain multi-domain occurs. This can be supported noticing reduction Hc growth.
