摘要: In this study we present general (multiple tree species from several sites) above- and belowground biomass models for trees in the miombo woodlands of Malawi. Such are currently lacking country. The modelling was based on 74 comprising 33 different with diameters at breast height (dbh) total (ht) ranging 5.3 to 2 cm 3.0 25.0 m, respectively. Trees were collected four silvicultural zones covering a wide range conditions. We tested including dbh, ht wood specific gravity ( ρ ) as independent variables. evaluated model performance using pseudo-R2, root mean square error (RMSE), covariance matrix parameter estimates, prediction (MPE) relative (MPE%). Computation MPE% leave-one-out cross-validation. Values pseudo-R2 ranged 0.82–0.97 0.9%–2.8%, Model indicated that can be used over geographical ecological conditions
