摘要: Drosophila abnormal spindle (asp) mutants exhibit a mitotic metaphase checkpoint arrest with poles, which reflects requirement for Asp the integrity of microtubule organising centres (MTOCs). In male meiosis, absence strong enables asp mutant cells to proceed through anaphase and telophase. However, central region is not correctly organised frequently fail complete cytokinesis. This contrasts meiosis in wild-type males where at late dense array microtubules forms that has localised its border. We speculate associated minus ends have been released from poles form spindle. A parallel situation arises female only associates acentriolar but also pole body between two tandem spindles II. Upon fertilisation, recruited MTOC nucleates sperm aster. required growth aster, remains diminutive so prevents migration pronuclei.
