摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter provides information about the use of six different cell lines—Jurkat, 2B4.11, DOl1.10, MCF-7, PC12, and C2C12—for study apoptosis. The Jurkat line, originally derived from a patient with acute lymphoblastic T-cell leukemia, clone E6-1 described in this chapter, originates Jurkat-FHCRC line. Morphologically, cells are round to racquet shaped express antigen receptor. They produce interleukin (IL)-2 after stimulation phorbol esters lectins or monoclonal antibodies against TCR. These can undergo apoptosis response wide variety well-defined physiological, pharmacological, pathological triggers. 2B4 is mouse lymphoid line model for vitro. It was generated by fusing lymph node T pigeon cytochrome c (PPC)-immunized B10. DO 11.10 hybridoma fusion between BALB/c splenocytes thymic leukemic BW51479. C2C12 C2 muscle as fast-fusing subclone has characteristics very proliferative satellite cell. considered standard studies on skeletal differentiation, function, death.
