摘要: The objective of this study was to investigate the effects cryo-treatment on microstructure, corrosion behavior, and mechanical properties Ti before after laser welding. microstructure studied by optical microscopy. It found that grain size for became smaller cryo-treatment. Cryo-treatment could also refine stabilize crystal lattice structure distribute precipitate particles throughout material in welded metal. Potentiodynamic polarization measurements were employed behavior an artificial saliva solution. Electrochemical results showed laser-welded exhibited most obvious passivation all specimens. Ti, cryo-treated (C-Ti), (W-Ti), cryo-treated, (CW-Ti) characterized tensile tests. strength elongation be improved without impairing its resistance. [doi:10.2320/matertrans.M2013373]
