摘要: One of the hallmarks hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections is its propensity to cause chronic despite presence HCV-specific cellular and humoral immunity. Thus, HCV appears have an ability evade host’s immunity, similar many other viruses. Various viruses employ different mechanisms, most often mediated by viral nonstructural proteins, defense. Some proteins are important for replication, whereas others may perform functions strictly counter defense, thus ensuring survival. encodes several which include RNA replication (ns5b probably ns3) protein processing (ns2, ns3 ns4a); remaining not yet clear. They disrupt contributing persistence infection. For example, ns5a has a potential effects interferon (GALE et al. 1997). Ironically, however, one that been demonstrated play role in disrupting response infection so far structural protein, namely, core protein. This chapter devoted discussion this respect.
