摘要: We have examined the effects of direct current (DC) conducted through silver-nylon dressings on healing time and morphologic maturation split-thickness grafts placed tangentially excised deep partial-thickness burn wounds. Male guinea pigs (n = 120) were used as experimental hosts. The DC-treated animals required 2 days for complete revascularization their grafts; control 7 (p less than 0.01). had increased epithelial proliferation at graft-wound interface compared with controls Grafts from firmly adherent within 4 days, whereas graft adherence in was weak before after grafting. At 3 months grafting, animal mild contraction moderate hair loss thick subepidermal fibrosis; expanded growth abundant significantly reduced dermal fibrosis
