摘要: Hydroquinone (HQ) is widely used in food stuffs and an occupational environmental pollutant. Although the hepatotoxicity of HQ has been demonstrated both vitro vivo, prevention HQ-induced yet to be elucidated. In this study, we focused on intervention effect aqueous extracts Flos lonicerae Japonicae (FLJ) cytotoxicity. We that reduced cell viability a concentration-dependent manner by administering 160 μmol/L for 12 h as positive control The FLJ significantly increased decreased LDH release, ALT, AST compared with corresponding HQ-treated groups hepatic L02 cells. This result indicated could protect cytotoxicity induced HQ. intracellular MDA LPO activities GSH, GSH-Px, SOD addition, suppressed HQ-stimulated oxidative damage. Moreover, promoted DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) level 8-hydroxy-2 - deoxyguanosine apoptosis. However, reversed damage apoptosis manner. Overall, our results toxicity was mediated stress, which activated findings also proved exerted protective effects against
