摘要: Since the first Critical Link Conference in Geneva Park, Canada, 1995, Community Interpreting (CI) has experienced a dramatic change both theory and practice. National international conferences, seminars, courses, workshops all around world have made it possible for practitioners, trainers, researchers to get together discuss their views exchange ideas. At same time, an ever-growingflow ofpublications reflects enormous activity this field. Nevertheless, CI re- search is still farfrom being category as infields such conference interpreting or translation, more so linguistics-based research.As researcher working department mostly involved with linguistics related areas but increasing interest cultural studies translation studies, my intention analyze classify contributions conferences publications of papers using methodology. To begin with, evolution those sub-areas, which had greatest influence lastfew decades, will be briefly discussed, its methodologies. Secondly, analysis presented characteristics tools research. And thirdly, conclusions drawn concerning evolution, trends gaps research general, particular.
