摘要: In gynodioecious plant populations, sex determination often involves both cytoplasmic male-sterility (CMS) genes and specific nuclear that restore male function. How gynodioecy is maintained under the joint dynamics of CMS restorer remains controversial. Although many theoretical models deal with interactions between sexual phenotypes predict changes in their frequencies, it difficult to observe frequencies because no molecular markers have been established for either or well-studied plants. This first report frequency a gene determined using marker natural populations plant. Using set gene-specific polymerase chain reaction primers, we compared female 18 Raphanus sativus. Female was relatively low, ranging from 0 0.21. contrast, highly variable among 1. Estimated seemed less than observed frequency, probably due higher flow gene. Genetic drift may play role maintaining high variability gene, although other possibilities are not excluded.
