摘要: Capsaicin has been shown to modulate synaptic plasticity in various brain regions including the amygdala. Whereas lateral amygdala modulatory effect of capsaicin on long-term potentiation (LA-LTP) is mediated by TRPV1 channels, we have recently that capsaicin-induced enhancement long term depression (LA-LTD) TRPM1 receptors. However, underlying mechanism which modulates poorly understood. In present study, investigate mice lacking AMPAR subunit GluA1. reduced magnitude LA-LTP slices derived from wild-type as previously described, whereas this suppression was absent GluA1-deficient mice. contrast, neither LA-LTD nor capsaicin-mediated changed GluA1 knockout Our data indicate modulation via involves GluA1-containing AMPARs independent expression subunit.
