摘要: This study examined the diverse environmental impacts of domestic biogas technology in rural Ethiopia. It employed a cross-sectional survey approach involving total 358 sample biogas-user and non-user households. The results analyses showed that substitution traditional biomass fuels kerosene with energy enabled households to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on average by about 1.9 t CO2 equivalents per digester year. reduced use chemical fertilizer also assisted GHG emission reductions. Moreover, helped reducing depletion woody through improving efficiency substitutions. fertility soil via removals as fuel direct nutrient enriched bio-slurry. Furthermore, contributed carbon sequestration. To further enhance benefits technology, proper uninterrupted operation utilization should be ensured; skillful standby technicians present at reasonable distances provide maintenance aftersales services. An operational platform for joint stakeholders' actions place assist exploiting its full potential, seeking realizing reduction financial incentive
