摘要: SUMMARY Background: Gastric mucosal microcirculation is an important factor in the protection of gastric mucosa, and nitric oxide (NO) plays a crucial role regulation regional blood flow. This study was designed to evaluate effect cetraxate, anti-ulcer drug, on water immersion stress-induced lesions relation changes NO synthase activity. Methods: were induced rats by stress. The effects cetraxate activity with or without stress determined enzymatically. Changes prostaglandin (PG) contents also using high-performance liquid chromatography. flow measured hydrogen gas clearance technique. Results: Water lesions. Cetraxate significantly mitigated but NG-monomethyl-l-arginine (l-NMMA), specific inhibitor synthase, exacerbated favourable remarkably diminished administration l-NMMA. decreased 6 h after treatment increased throughout experiment treatment. all PGs detected, i.e. 6-keto-PGF1α, PGF2α PGE2 PGD2. prevented decreases PG contents. l-NMMA showed no significant cancelled out cetraxate-induced increase flow. Conclusions: pharmacological efficacy drugs such as might be attributable enhancement resulting
