摘要: The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the efficacy a new formulation named “Hajji's spray" for prevention dental plaque formation in Muslim pilgrims who are banned from tooth brushing during their 1 month stay Mecca (period Ihram Hajj) due some religious restrictions. In randomized, double-blind, crossover clinical trial experimental and commercial Chlorhexidine sprays evaluated compared two separate 5-day periods without any mechanical intervention. total, 26 individuals aged 21 45 years consented participate study were enrolled (mean age ± 7.2 years). Subjects asked use each spray twice daily, morning before breakfast evening bed time. A 7-days washout–period allocated between periods. Turesky modification Quigley-Hein Plaque Index used assess level formation. Anti-plaque Hajji's found be comparable with that (P = 0.34, 95% confidence interval -0.66 0.2). terms flavor taste (median 3, CI median 3 4), Hajji’s superior (Median 2.5, 2 4) (p 0.004, 0.002 0.005).
