摘要: Myocardial apoptosis has previously been observed in human acute myocardial infarcts. We examined the time of appearance and extent infarcts, compared these with necrotic cell death. Because nuclear internucleosomal DNA fragmentation is a hallmark apoptosis, autopsied tissue from cases infarct varying histological ages was subjected to two tests that identify such fragmentation: situ end-labeling (ISEL) electrophoresis on agarose gels. Both showed widespread infarcts only few hours age before coagulative necrosis. No detected normal myocardium. ISEL recent visible primarily myocytes containing contraction bands, which occur predominantly regions reperfused During next 1 2 days, remained extensive but increasingly appeared cells morphological features necrosis, representative nonreperfused In older incidence declined myocytes, increased invading inflammatory cells. These data suggest early predominant form death infarcted myocardium, its accelerated Therapies directed at rescue apoptotic may, therefore, prove valuable.
