摘要: Over the years, numerous outreach strategies by science community, such as FAQ cards and website information, have been used to explain blooms of toxic dinoflagellate, Karenia brevis that occur annually off west coast Florida impacted communities. Many state federal agencies turned funded research groups for assistance in development testing environmental products. In case red tide, Fish Wildlife Research Institute/Mote Marine Laboratory (MML) Cooperative Red Tide Agreement allowed MML initiate a project aimed at developing innovative products about tide. This project, which we coined “The Art Science,” consisted team effort between scientists from students Ringling College Design. successful focused on tide can be model develop similar projects equally complex ecological issues.
