摘要: The present invention provides compositions and methods for targeted cleavage of cellular chromatin in a region interest and/or homologous recombination at predetermined site cells. Compositions include fusion polypeptides comprising TAL effector binding or zinc finger domain an I-TevI homing endonuclease as well nucleic acid sequence encoding the same. use allows monomer sequences to achieve represents advantage over prior endonucleases which require self-dimerization, two nucleases with appropriate spacers.
