摘要: Tissue factor (TF), the initiator of coagulation, has been implicated as a critical mediator arterial thrombosis. Previous studies have demonstrated that TF is rapidly induced in normal rodent wall by balloon injury, but not associated with fibrin deposition. A second however, performed 10-14 days after first, followed small platelet-fibrin microthrombi. This study was undertaken to better localize active balloon-injured rat arteries and explore possible mechanisms underlying apparent discrepancy between injury-induced expression lack large plateletfibrin thrombi. By immunohistochemistry, antigen first detected media 24 h injury aortas, subsequently accumulated neointima. Using an ex vivo flow chamber, no activity (Factor Xa generation) found on luminal surface or injured aortas. Wiping cotton swab exposed all vessels; levels were increased ≈3-fold containing The washed into perfusate, rendering inactive. loss circulation may attenuate thrombosis at sites injury.
