摘要: Chiral discrimination between thalidomide enantiomers was achieved using the self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of an atropisomeric compound, 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-dithiol (BNSH), which takes a two-dimensional chiral arrangement on gold(111) surface. Interestingly, “all-or-none” type enantioselectivity appears; one enantiomeric form BNSH SAM allows adsorption only enantiomer thalidomide. In addition, response racemic revealed to be one-half that caused by pure SAM. Chirality 16:S36–S39, 2004. © 2004 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
