摘要: Modern imaging sensors incorporate complex focal plane architectures and sophisticated post- detector processing. These advanced technical characteristics create the potential for multi- component noise generation which can exhibit effects temporally as well along vertical horizontal image directions. Such three-dimensional (time, vertical, horizontal) cannot be adequately treated by previous mathematical analyses developed simpler system designs where was predominant. In a parallel sense, earlier methods measurement are no longer satisfactory. A new methodology has been at C2NVEO to characterize patterns exhibited thermal systems. The represents significant expansion of standard techniques noise. This paper explains principles behind 3-D used. It also describes how this is implemented in laboratory environment.© (1991) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society Optical Engineering. Downloading abstract permitted personal use only.
