摘要: Brain tissue from 25 patients with clinically definite multiple sclerosis (MS) and as controls brain 36 without neurological disease was tested for the presence of human coronaviral RNA. Four PCR assays primers specific N-protein coronavirus strain 229E three nucleocapsid protein OC43 were performed. Sporadic positive observed in both some assays. However, these results not reproducible there no difference proportion signals MS compared to controls. Evidence a chronic infection coronaviruses or has been found this study.
