Prognosis of functional capacity and work capacity in rheumatoid arthritis

摘要: In the study functional capacity and work were investigated in a series of 405 hospital patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. One-third had disease for 5 years, one-third 10 years 15 years. The index presented by Lee et al. (1973) was used. Half 10-year groups those 15-year group good capacity. One-fourth poor Sixty per cent 5-year group, 50 33 able to work. prognosis better young persons than older ones. No differences found between prognoses men women.
