摘要: A stochastic approach to describe the crystal size distribution dynamics in antisolvent based growth processes is here introduced. Fluctuations process are taken into account by embedding a deterministic model Fokker-Planck equation, which describes evolution time of particle distribution. The used this application on logistic model, shows be adequate suit characteristic process. Validations against experimental data presented for NaCl–water–ethanol crystallization system bench-scale fed-batch unit. © 2009 American Institute Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 2010
