Drooling, an excessive pooling spillover of saliva out the oral cavity, one symptoms in PD patients that produces various negative physical psychosocial consequences for their caregivers. At present, pathophysiology drooling not completely certain; however, impaired intra-oral salivary clearance likely major contributor. There are neither standard diagnostic criteria nor severity assessment tools evaluating PD. In accordance with possible pathophysiology, dopaminergic agents have been used to improve clearance; these effective controlling drooling. Various pharmacological non-pharmacological treatment options studied. Local injection botulinum toxin serotypes A B into glands most reduce Future research explore exact develop needed formulate specific patient care.
