摘要: Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques were applied to study the muscular dystrophy in chicks. The water proton spin-lattice relaxation times (T1) of fast, slow, and mixed muscles plasma measured. T1 values dystrophic pectoralis major posterior latissimus dorsi (PLD) significantly higher than those normal PLD muscles. present results establish a direct relationship between differences severity muscle degeneration. Consistent with this conclusion, it was also found that unaffected dystrophy, namely, gastrocnemius, anterior (ALD), not different Although affected chicks contained percent fat chicks, show is solely due variations their content. increase principally result altered interaction cellular macromolecules diseased These data point out potential use NMR imaging evaluating
