摘要: Objective: To put into relationship the dietary and anthropometric profile of men women with their eating behaviors (cognitive restraint, disinhibition, susceptibility to hunger) assess whether gender obesity status influence these associations. Research Methods Procedures: Anthropometric measurements (including visceral adipose tissue accumulation), (3-day food record), (Three-Factor Eating Questionnaire) were determined in a sample 244 352 women. Results: Women had significantly higher cognitive restraint disinhibition scores than (p < 0.0001). In both genders, for hunger, but not obese subjects overweight nonobese 0.05). Positive correlations observed between rigid most variables studied (0.12 ≤ r 0.16). Moreover, women, flexible was negatively associated body fat waist circumference (r = −0.11). Cognitive positively related BMI among (0.19 0.20), whereas men, tended be correlated (−0.20 −0.22; p 0.10). Discussion: Gender could mediate associations profile. It also found that hunger are level obesity. On other hand, is consistently weight adiposity, oppositely status, which suggests it important differentiate subscales restraint. Finally, counseling aimed at coping benefit long-term treatment
