摘要: There are several methods to dimension concrete slabs due vehicle loads, most of them based on Westergaard theory. These have been developed for industrial vehicles (cars, trucks and forklifts). Considering agricultural buildings one the used is tractor whose characteristics (tires great dimensions but with a reduced contact surface) different those vehicles. The goal this research was analyze applicability finite element method (FEM) estimate stresses generated considering loads transmitted by tractors. To achieve objective, effect rear axle tires three tractors has considered. In parallel, same study carried out using As preliminary step, validate FEM, numerical analysis made obtain slab forklifts. results compared obtained mean validated (Portland Cement Association) classical theory Westergaard. For each tractor, actual geometry surface measured discretized FEM. result process developed, it possible conclude that FEM valid tool tensions floors supported ground.
