摘要: Abstract A hybrid polycrystalline silicon production route is optimized following a two-step procedure. First, surrogate models for the main units are developed different techniques which depend on available information. Secondly, optimization of entire process flowsheet allows determining optimal tradeoff between yield and energy consumption. base capacity 2000 t/y considered, with an equipment cost 9.97 M$. Three scenarios evaluated: maximum production, minimum operating costs total profit. The maximization profit most promising scenario, obtaining selling price 8.93 $/kgPoly, below commercial price, 10 $/kgPoly. revenue obtained M$/y, 6.48 M$/y. Furthermore, plant scale-up study was performed. If increased by factor 10, it results in reduction 1.03 $/kgSiPoly.
