摘要: To synthesise the research which has sought to evaluate interventions aiming tackle children’s food insecurity and contribution of this evidencing effectiveness such interventions. The majority studies in review were quantitative, non-randomised studies, including cohort studies. Issues with non-complete outcome data, measurement duration participation interventions, accounting for confounds are common these evaluation Despite limitations current evidence base, papers that reviewed provide multiple positive outcomes children participating attended subsidy inter alia, reductions insecurity, poor health obesity. However, evaluations may overlook key areas impact on lives children. This suggests base evaluates is both mixed limited scope quality. In particular, measured narrow, many have methodological limitations. With mind, a systems-based approach implementation poverty recommended.
