摘要: There is high diversity of Anopheles mosquitoes in Southeast Asia and the main vectors malaria belong to complexes or groups species that are difficult impossible distinguish due overlapping morphological characteristics. Recent advances molecular systematics have provided simple reliable methods for unambiguous identification. This review summarizes latest information on seven taxonomic include principal Asia, i.e. Minimus, Fluviatilis, Culicifacies, Dirus, Leucosphyrus, Sundaicus Complexes, Maculatus Group. Main issues still be resolved highlighted. The growing knowledge has implications vector control programs, success which highly dependant precise about biology behavior species. Acquisition this information, consequently application appropriate, sustainable measures, depends our ability accurately identify specific vectors.
